Pirates of the Indian Ocean

The East coast is notorious for its stories of pirates & their treasures. This trip explores the cultural “creolization” that happened as a result of pirates landing on our shores. Nosy Boraha will serve as our picture perfect point of departure as we experience how pirates reshaped the food, culture & language of the east. Who knows - the luckiest amongst us - may even glimpse William Kidd's (famous pirate) gold that UNESCO divers are still digging for today!
